The Workouts

What you will need: 

  • 10 to 20 minutes
  • 1, 2 or 5 kg hand-held weights - Don't worry if you don't have these. Try to find something else in your home that you can use or simply do the workout with out. 

What you need to know: 

  • Take a break whenever you need. Do the best you can. 
  • You can do the workout once through for a great 10 minute workout but if you have more time, watch the video again after a one minute break for an awesome 20 minute workout. 
  • Have fun!
 

What you will need: 

  • 25 minutes
  • Yoga mat or towel

What you need to know: 

  • Each pose is combined with the breath and this is done in and out through the nose. 
  • After you complete the video make sure you take at least 5 minutes for savasana (the final resting pose). This is an important part of the yoga practice. It consolidates all the work you have just done plus allows your body to come back to a state of rest before going about your day. If you skip this part, you might find yourself feeling unsettled. This will be why.

The Meditation

Here is your holiday guided meditation. I have designed this meditation so that you can do it long after the holiday season is over. You can listen to it any time you like and especially if you feel yourself getting worked up, stressed, anxious, overwhelmed or worried. Meditation is a powerful practice that when done regularly has benefits that last long after the meditation session. Try incorporating a daily meditation practice into your life and start to feel these amazing effects.
